It portrays the isolation that may surround individuals who are alone, implying that relationships and companionship can significantly boost their happiness and overall sense of fulfillment. In addition, it presents a stark juxtaposition between the lively and cheerful existence of the elderly woman on the right and the bleak and somber environment of the elderly man on the left. This contrast accentuates the varied experiences of aging and the impact of social situation on one’s quality of life.
The perfect summer day.
August, 7 PM, Seattle.
It was summer 2022. My friends and I decided to walk to the restaurant rather than take the car to enjoy the beautiful weather in Seattle. It was a good 3 hours walk, and we sweated a lot; it was quite hot. We stopped by the convenience store to pick up drinks of our choice to cool down, though all of us opted for coconut water. We sat by the lake, overlooking this stunning view.
The loudest crowds.
September, 11 PM, New York.
The 2022 US Open featured a notable match between Alcaraz and Sinner. During this match, Alcaraz delivered one of the most remarkable points of the tournament that year. The audience reacted enthusiastically, with numerous spectators rising to applaud both players. The cheer was super loud and lasted for quite a while before the game finally continued.
In kebaya we pose.
September, 1 PM, Seattle.
Celebrating kebaya as one of many Indonesian heritages. That year, we were grateful to collaborate with this brand and bring these beautiful sets to life through day-to-day activities in the U.S. The shoot was so much fun, and we even took some pictures in an exclusive place that only we know. *wink
